BLAUER WOMEN’S PANTS ALTERNATIVE
Ready for work. Room to move.
You want to look ready for work. You also want to sit down without learning something unpleasant about the crotch seam. This feels like a reasonable request.
I’m Miranda, an MGT Gear co-founder, volunteer firefighter and mom. To me, practical gear should leave room for the actual person doing the work.

“either rode up in the crotch or had a ridiculous amount of extra space, no in between.”
A paramedic discussing issued Blauer pants in a public community, 2024. Specific cut unknown; name omitted. Read the original account.
More fabric does not always put the room in the right place. Blauer offers women-specific fits and movement features, too. If the pair you have does not work for you, the next step is to compare where it is tight, where it is loose and where the waistband sits.
Look at the whole fit, not just the waist.
MGT pants are mid-rise, with room through the hips, seat and thighs and an elastic back waist. Two-way stretch body fabric and a four-way stretch crotch panel are part of the design.
Start there, then see how those features line up with what you need. Use your waist and hip measurements with our fit guidance, then check the 31-inch regular or 33-inch long inseam against what you need.
Same MGT fit. Pockets for your day.

A few useful answers
Will MGT match my uniform requirements?
Check your employer’s color, fabric and uniform rules before ordering. An alternative fit is not automatic approval.
Should I copy my Blauer size?
Use the Fit Finder as a starting estimate and check measurements. Different cuts can change the result.
Are the two MGT pants shaped differently?
They share the same fit; the principal choice is the pocket layout.
