That reviewer expected the waistband to sit differently. And where it sits changes a lot: how your belt feels, how the seat fits, and whether bending down turns into a shirt-tugging exercise.
Tru-Spec offers different women’s fits. If your current pair is not sitting where you want it, look at waistband position before ordering another size. The same number cannot tell that whole story.

MGT pants have a mid-rise fit, an elastic back waist and room through the hips, seat and thighs. Compare your measurements with our guidance, remembering that a natural-waist measurement and a lower waistband position are different things.

Does MGT offer petite or size 0 pants?
The current range is sizes 2–18, with 31-inch and 33-inch inseams. We do not offer a dedicated petite fit.
Can I copy my Tru-Spec size?
Not reliably across the brand. Use your measurements and the Fit Finder guidance.
Which MGT style has fewer pockets?
Workwear has four pockets; Tactical has 12. Their underlying fit is the same.
